India vs Australia T20i Series 2023

 In the ongoing T20i series between India vs Australia, India has won the first two T20i matches against Australia. India won 2nd of five-match T20i series by 44 runs.

Good thing for India is that their batting and bowling both departments are performing, as they started their innings batting with attacking intent, Openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad gave a flying start as India were 55 runs in 5.5 Overs. Jaiswal made 53 runs off just 25 balls and Gaikwad scored 58 on 43 balls, it was a perfect setup for a big Target by India. Later Ishan Kishan also played his part as he scored 52 runs in just 32 balls and at the end the new Young batting talent Rinku Singh showed his class again as he scored 32 runs on just 9 balls including 2 sixes and 4 fours. India set a huge Target of 236 runs for Australia.

In the second innings Australian batters did not start well as they were 58 for 4 in 5.5 Overs. Later Marcus Stoinis, Tim David and Australia Skipper Mathew Wade played some good cricket but Target was just too much for them so Australia just managed to score 191/9 in 20 Overs. Prasidh Krishna and Ravi Bishnoi were the pick of the bowlers as both took 3 wickets each.

Next Match (3rd T20i);

India have won the first 2 matches of a five-match series which means if they win 3rd in a row then it would confirm their series win over Australia. If India wins this series that would be a great gift for their fans as recently India lost the 50 over world cup 2023 final from Australia. Third T20 is scheduled on Tuesday, 28th November 2023 in Guwahati. Match will start at 7 PM IST.
